Default Greys Anatomy season 7 episode 18 (musical)

So to all those who watch Greys, who saw the finale last week? What was your opinion of them doing a musical, seen many people on other boards who loved it, but just as many who have declared they believe Greys 'Jumped the shark' in this episode.

Personally i loved it. Music has always been an iconic part of Greys Anatomy, and they fitted it in well with Callie in her out of body experience of sorts. Singing the songs that were iconic to Greys was a good decision. Felt it was a vey emotional episode, particularly the when 'Chasing Cars' 'How to save a life' and 'The Story' were being sang. But mostly i was amazed at how good alot of the cast are at singing, i already knew Sara Ramierz(Callie) was a singer and broadway vet, but had never seen anything from her before. But she was outstanding, haven't been able to stop listening to her version of 'The Story' since i watched it, and imo she surpassed Brandi Carliles original by a long way. Kevin Mckidd(Hunt) also was a big suprise at how good he was, his parts in Chasing Cars were pretty amazing for someone who has no background in singing.

Overall i really like it, i thought i would hate it when i heard they were doing a musical, but it someone brought me round.

Here are the album versions of 'The Story' and 'Chasing Cars', both of which i can't stop listening to.

It was a good episode, but I found very odd with the outer body experience and basically singing to herself.
