Default I think I just watched the worst movie in recent history

I just finished watching the movie, Legion. It was by far the worst movie that I can remember from recent memory. I am not talking, cheap D-rate type films here, but multi million/billion major studio producing type "blockbusters" films.

For a film that has well known actors in it and a preview that looked damn good, I was thoroughly pissed off that this film was so bad. The plot was as thin as gas station toilet paper with gaping holes in the story so big you could fly a Airbus A380 through it and acting as bad as a 70's porn. What the hell, do people in the movie industry not even read scripts beforehand any more? Do they just look at the cover page, read the title and say, "sounds like a winner..." and give it approval to be made? I just cannot believe how bad this film was... what a disaster. [/RANT]

I need a new movie that is excellent, so to wash my memory clean from this debacle, any suggestions?

Lol. That was some stupid shit of a movie. Not going to lie. The part I liked was the part where the old lady goes crazy. Besides that, the whole fucking film was cheesier than the King Of Cheese.

I watched it in theaters on release day.... imagine how thrilled I was. Another stellar movie along these lines was the Rite. Black Swan was a good mind fuck of a movie.

i have a bit of a bias to this movie but i recommend "tomorrow when the war began" best australian movie ive seen in a long time, based on the series of novels by john marsden, i saw this film in theaters and walked out wishing there was a second screening but alas they only showed it once..... so now i eagerly await the sequels :D

Actually I quite liked Legion- I woulnd't have wanted to have paid to see it but its entertaining enough. Then again I loved Paul Bettany's character... export the character and his acting to another movie with a decent plot and you would really have a winner.

I just watched Time Bandits, just a good as I remember it. Should wash everything away.

I should change my name to Number 1. Not because I am conceited but because thats what I always roll at inopportune moments.

Great idea! That is one of those odd, creepy, disturbingly good films. I shall put that to the top of my netflix list.

Hahahahah Legion was horrendous. For some reason, I was thinking of Centurion when I saw the thread - and was about to rage about how my future wife Olga Kuryalenko should not be insulted as such. But I'll sit back, and give you a free reign.

But Black Swan was quality, the King's Speech, Paul, and Gnomeo and Juliet. Yes. Even Gnomeo and Juliet.
