Personally i think that Inception should get a mention.
While its not the "worst" movie, it is by FAR the most overrated.
Deserves a 3 or 4 out of 10, and instead got put in the top 10 movies of all time.
Yeah right.
Lol, I just wanted to get you trolling over to the thread. lol. Success. But I must disagree with your opinion on inception.

When you've seen Memento, mind fuck films are lacking. I'm not a fan of Inception. It was clever, I'll grant. But I'm afraid, because it's a Christopher Nolan film, it was hyped up, because it was hollywood, the special effects took over, and because it's the two combined, the retarded critic's found themselves falling over each other to praise something "new and innovational", which had been done a few years before, when even then it wasn't "new and innovational".

Yes, I made that word up, but shit sticks. Memento floors Inception.

I liked Inception better actually as I found Memento fairly meh. Cool concept and such and definitely well filmed and I would never say it was anything less than a great movie but I never felt the need to fawn over it like so many others.

one thing I want is the ability to split my fire everywhere, it makes no sense that a squad of 10 guard or marines or whatever all have to fire at 1 target with everything, is the guy with the lascannon not smart enough to realize maybe he would be better off firing at the massive tank looming overhead instead of the little man no bigger than a squat running at him, or is that far too complex for the 10yr olds?

Reign of Fire was another movie I quite enjoyed- I'm perfectly willing to toss my brain out the window and just watch the pretty explosions in a film... so long as thats all the movie is trying to do. Hell I even like Arnie films
The 2 types of film that I always find awful are either the shitty slapstick comedies (I'm fairly sure I would class Vampire Strippers as one of those) and 'clever' films that aren't Of the second type The Prestige always springs to mind- I rewatched it the other day and its not as bad as I thought the first time I saw it, but the ending is still lame (while watching it the first time I had many ideas as to how it might end, and all of them were better then the actual ending).

Although you are speaking of high budget films... Never! I repeat never!! Say you saw the worst until you see that thing... you know... that... *sigh* I'm talking of course about...

The Room... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0368226/

THIS IS AN UTTER PIECE OF CRAP THAT SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN CREATED THE ACTING WAS SO BAD THAT I CANT WRITE COMAS AND DOTS RIGHTS NOW ITS SO TERRIBLE THAT ITS FUNNY IN AN EXTREMELY AS KIND OF WAY, but still its not a high budget film... just stating out a fact about bad movies...

eh, everything has just about been done before.

I didn't like inception because it was clever, if anything it was showing off a bit too much, I liked it because it did it in style

Memento is a great film, but it definitely isn't my favourite Nolan film.
