I love that film. It was a breath of fresh air amongst all the sequel/remake/torture-porn-arific crap that's come out over the past 2 years.

Stand by for 2011 with scream 4, 5nal destination (FUCK OFF), paranormal activity 3!, a likely mediocre prequel to 'the thing' and saw 8.

I know saw 8 isn't announced, but they can leave shooting and production until about a month before release if they change their minds.

I liked it as the "bad guy" won!! I was really shocked when the dozy blonde went to hell it was like ok everything is right in the world.

I mean the main thing that pisses me off about the Hellraiser films is not the the chains or the tits it's the fact that some teenage girl can not only once but twice defeat Hell and as for the spotty bird from DS9.....

I loved the first hellraiser, where they were true to the actual idea of what the cenobytes were. I also cast my vote for Drag me to hell, great movie. Also, while maybe not "horror" Devil was a great movie in my oppinion, and My Soul to take wasn't bad either.

There are several movies that are not really horror, slasher movies but are none the less very disturbing to watch. Jacob's Ladder was a great movie, Pandorum, I think it was, was very good as well. I also enjoyed Event Horizon and In the mouth of madness. If you immerse yourself in them they are just friggin great.

28 Days Later is one of my favourite films. I love zombie flicks, and this twist on them was excellent.

KF's Journey Through His Plastic Crack Addiction. 40k, Flames of War, Bolt Action, and more.

There was a good one I saw a while back but I can't remember the name of it for the life of me, I shall do some digging around and see what I can turn up.

The modern day question RE zombies seems to be does one prefer them slow or fast.

I think either works depending on the director.
The original Night of the Living Day will probably always scare me til the day I die (and come back?)
However, 28 Days Later, and, to a lesser extent, the recent Dawn of the Dead have a similar effect.
