Default Predator or Alien

Wanted to see what most of your heretics thought about these two species. Especially after hollywood tried to incorporate the two. You can vote for either one because you like one over the other, you prefer the movies of one over the other, or whatever.

I chose Predator because they seem cooler to me in every single way compared to Alien. I also preferred the predator movies over the Alien movies. Mostly because the actress in alien bothered me and I guess they are a bit older in general than the Predator movies. Lastly, the newer predator movie wasn't at all bad. Not the best choice in actors... but still pretty good.

predator or alien?, nah 10 mm caseless ammunition and a pump-action grenade launcher will make short work of both

Predator for me. Aliens is my favourite scifi film, but I love the whole concept of the Predator films.

KF's Journey Through His Plastic Crack Addiction. 40k, Flames of War, Bolt Action, and more.

Predator. Ever wonder why people want to join the forces? They saw Predator when they were kiddies. Makes Rambo look a wannabe.

That's true, but Aliens made me want to be a Marine. When I was a kid I thought we'd be fighting aliens in the 2000's.

Predator for me. The whole concept of a badass half space-lizard, half squid-man who is so badass they have to test themselves against whole badass special forces teams to stay sharp is just so badass that I can't even finish this sentence without saying badass again. Badass.

Overall I prefer the Alien movies despite the weaker 3rd and 4th installments. If it wasn't for the AvP movies I would probably prefer the predators as a species but those films did more damage to predators than xenomorphs. Messing with their helmets and armour aswell as giving them new and slightly over the top weapons was a step in the wrong direction for me, they should have stuck with the interpretation and portrayal of predators from the first two predator movies. The new predator film has restored some of my confidence in their coolness however.

Yeah I know, and comics too. I haven't read many of them but the ones I have read didn't bother me as much as the movies did.
