I totally agree, average storyline, CGI is sub-par, the movie looks like an episode of the CGI starship troopers.

There is so much in the warhammer universe to do a film/ cartoon about i was so dissapointed with this production.

Of course it was going to be the Ultramarines. They are the poster children no matter what people think of them. And they're the most easily accessible thing for any new people lured into the 40k universe by the movie.

Dark Angels would have been much harder. They're whole story revolves around knowing about the Heresy, the Primarchs and other stuff.

Whats wrong with Ultramarines? Everyone hates them just cause they happened to be the poster boys...

Lets face it, if the Dark Angels (or anyone else for the matter) were the poster boys, they would be equally hated.

I dont understand why the Ultramarines are considered to be "boring"? Seriously? Why?

Dark Angels, dark green guys with monk robes that turn inicent civilians into servitors and have people hidden away into some dark dungedons?

Aye, that would have been a great story for the movie. Or maybe not.

It would have made new people think that every Space Marine is like that, and that might not have been a good idea, might frighten some kids away.

I'd prefer a film about the world eaters.
