Mad Dogs

Just saw this. Awesome stuff.

I was waiting for the ending - it was a bit like Jaws, when I new it was coming, and kept waiting for it. "It's Tony Blair - More Like Tiny Blair" was a cracking line as well.

Didn't particularly like how Alvo was acted, but I suppose if he wanted to portray an arseholeish rich prick without friends or any idea of sensitivity, he did rather well.

Max Beesley is the star, IMHO, Phil Glenister is good, as is Marc Warren, but John Simm leaves much to be desired. I'm really intrigued as to his backstory - the alcoholic refuses to fall off the wagon, and the mention about his wife's suicide, combined with THAT death stair we know all so well... wow.

I'm a bit more interested into the part that the Barnsley slapper played, and I wonder if she was the leggy paintballer in the mask we see in the advert, although the sex scene was overdone, and that fucking accent as she chatted dirty made me want to slit her throat.

Anyone else watch this? Thursday's are no longer boring on TV, as it's followed by new House (for UKers anyway) as well.
