In no order

Batman Begins
The Dark Knight
Inception
Memento
Lord of the rings (it was supposed to be one book so I view it as one awesome film)
The Original Star wars films are outstanding
The Godfather Parts 1&2
Godfellas
The Departed
Ragin Bull
Taxie Driver
Moon
Body Of Lies
Blood Diamond
Commando (its brilliant!)
Predator
Aliens
Elf (classic)
Fight Club
Saving Private Ryan
Inglorious Bastards.

Many more, but you get the idea.

I am surprised that so many of you like the prequel star wars films, they were the most disappointing thing ever, even compared to my son, but unlike my son who hung himself in the toilet of a gas station, they will be around forever, staining the name of Star wars!

I'll probably have to amend this at some point when I remember something else

Here's a top ten (in alphabetical order, not preference)

Alien/Aliens
The Blues Brothers - best film ever!
Chasing Amy
The Dark Knight
The Empire Strikes Back
For A Few Dollars More
The Seven Samurai
The Terminator
There's Something About Mary

Not quite but nearly

Amelie
Heat
The Losers
Revenge Of The Sith
Rocky

All right, but apart from the sanitation, medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, the fresh water system and public health, what have the Romans ever done for us?

Blade Runner is my all time favourite film. I think it is masterful and I hold it as the greatest cinematic achievement of mankind. My second fave would be Casablanca, third is Thelma & Louise, fourth goes to Jurassic Park and last place to Casino Royale (2006).

To my mind, Casablanca is far and away the best movie ever made, followed by The Princess Bride.

Other than those two, I'll post a list of directors and actors whose work I've enjoyed, as listing the movies would take too damn long:

Steve McQueen
Guy Richie
Quentin Tarentino
Robert Rodriguez
Guillermo del Toro
Clive Owen
Paul Giamatti
Clint Eastwood
Samuel L. Jackson
Martin Scorsese
Francis Ford Coppola
James Caan
Mickey Rourke
The Brothers Coen
The Brothers Wachowski
Marky Maaaaark
Ed Norton
