I watch a lot of Korean flicks, and Asian movies in general so...

If you dug Pan's Labyrinth, you might want to give Re-cycle a try.

Very trippy, Alice in Wonderland kind of feel to it and it has a nice twist to the story.

You can't go wrong with one of Park Chan-Wook's revenge trilogy (not related just similar theme) Oldboy

Lady Vengeance

Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance.

There's also The Host

which is a great monster flick AND family drama with a lot of social commentary in it.

Here's a trailer for the Host and Oldboy since those are probably my two favorites from that list.

I would vote for Inception. It's got a good amount of action, but it also has alot of dialogue that you need to pay attention to, which prohibits spousal yapping during movies.

Huh, well my boyfriend and I both liked the Book of Eli.

Then again... My boyfriend and I can sit and watch a marathon of Stargate SG-1, Star Trek and Star Wars.

Usually he and I pick something out together, I think the last movie we saw together was Avatar after that I went on an Animé fling and he got deep into Star Trek: The Next Generation. I have to go back and make him watch The Original Series (then I have to watch Stargate Universe x_X).

My Dad can stomach a few chick flicks, Adam Sandler movies seem to work for him and his woman.

My wife and I watched Public Enemies with Depp and Bale. It was a good movie. Not great, but good. We both enjoyed it. Next up is Pirate Radio. She picked it and I have no clue as to what it is about. I guess I will find out right?

I'd try Boondock Saints, it gives you some good comedic moments along with gun play and a moral question covering it all.

Book of Eli is good, the story is well paced with decent action.

Identity is also a really good movie with John Cusask as the lead but it's more of a horror/suspense.

Boondock saints was horrible! I just do not see why people actually liked that movie. I was just so put off by the overly flamboyant performance that Willem Dafoe put on, ugh, just annoyingly horrible. The movie was also so badly put together it just looked crappy and rushed. I dunno, everyone seems to love the two brothers who kill mobsters, I just cannot get into it...

Book of Eli is on our netflix list, Denzel is always worth a watch.
