Pssh: Watch 'how to train your dragon.'

That film explores many different realistic scenarios with great character developments, a gripping, yet emotional story-line - sending you on a journey through laughs, tears and smiles: It exercises true film-making genius, making it a great film for the family.

The guy who wishes he never sold all his warhammer. Haha. Such is life.

Also, check out The Human Centipede.
Good movie about 2 chicks, combination of comedy, suspense, and romance.
And might get your missus in the mood too. ;)
Yes I quoted your post, it was funny.

As for the Human Centipede, I am not a complete idiot as it may seem at times. Nice try though, got to give you credit for that at least...

Kiera has selected a few films in my history. Every time without fail it is utter shit. The Sandra Bullock film about the fat fuck that plays American Football *yawn* 50 first dates *yawn* Bride War... OMFG...

Movies are made for men.
The whole "watch what I want..." goes over like a fart in a space suit in my house when my wife is involved. I watch enough stuff by myself, I wanted to have an evening enjoying a film with my wife. A good evening together is one where we don't talk to each other, it keeps me from pretending I am interested in what she says and also keeps me from saying something I shouldn't have. That is why I need a movie that we will both like.

And for the Sanda Bullock film, "The Blind Side" it was bad wasn't it! For all the hype and stuff around it, it was boring. Except for the parts where she looked hot as hell...

Yeah, my 8 year old did not even cry when watching it. ROT, you pussy! Funny movie even though the main characters voice was about as enjoyable to listen to as fingernails down a blackboard. Drove me nuts through the entire film.

I got the Johnny Depp film "Public Enemies" coming from Netflix. She thinks he is hot and I like gangster shit so it should probably work out. If not she can leave...

A film we both loved was Marley & Me.

I dare any man to watch that and not fight back the tears. Probably one of the most difficult films to watch from the pov of someone who doesn't like blarting at "pretend shit".

A couple I've found are good for watching with the womenz are "Runaway Jury" (it's about tampering with a jury in New Orleans. It sounds boring, but it's actually quite good), and "The Proposal" with Sandra Bullock. The Proposal is sort of a chick flick until you stop and realize that it's actually about sexual harassment, at which point it actually is sort of funny. Point is, it's actually really watchable.

Airplane is always a good shout.

Everyone has a purpose, just so happens mine is more of an example to others of what NOT to do.

I know it's time to go to bed when the last post in every thread has been written by me.

Hey man, back off.

That film is emotional - when they try and break the bond between him and his dragon - It's wrong!

You should see "Hachi: A dogs tale" then. Way better than Marley and Me. You will be crying... I guarantee it.

Depends on the type of film. The last one I saw with subtitles was "Pans Labyrinth." Excellent movie. The wife like it too. Subtitles are fine, but the movie better be good.
