Default Your Best and Worst Films of 2010?

So now that 2010 is quickly coming to an end, what has your favourite film been this year? Doesn't have to be too highbrow, but feel free to sell your pick to the rest of us! There's been some stinkers too as normal, quite a few this year it seems, so in the same vein what has your worst film been this year?

Best:

I reckon Kick-Ass was the most enjoyable for me this year. Not normally in to comic book adaptations as they often come out a bit shit, but Kick-Ass was pretty well done I thought and quite funny too.

Worst:

Iron Man 2. Just awful. That movie was the worst film I have seen in a long, long time. We all know sequel's are bad, but come on!? Throw big names at it (even going so far as removing some of the actors from the first one) and have a half-assed plot with lazy writers and lots of feel good shit and pointless special effects. Result? Something less enjoyable than being sick in your mouth unexpectedly and having to swallow that shit down.

Any movie in the twilight 'saga'. Just..wow. Plain awful.

There was one movie which just screamed 'SHIT' at you, but it was sooo bad I can't even remember its name

Best film...No idea. The last film I watched, 'Due Date', was great, but I doubt it was the best. Vampire Sucks was shit, but was just so awesome because it ripped twilight apart ...

Best: For me it was probably Shutter Island, but I am yet to see the new Saw, so watch this space!

Worst: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1. Jesus Christ, the best part was Emma Watson.

Story I'm Currently Writing:

The Diary of a Guardsman (Continuous Story)

Made my sig.

90% of people think they are above average.

Statistically Improbable. Psychologically Inevitable.

Best film? In-fucking-ception.

Inception was just so good; there is no criticisms for it.

Worst film? Who cares, it was shit.

Best film: I haven't seen Inception yet but I can definitely tell it's up my alley, but for the moment I'm going to say Shutter Island, eventhough the plot was extremely predictable it did a very good job of getting there. I've always said: "It doesn't matter how it ends but how it leads to that ending". Rosie O'Donnels fat dumbass revealed that in Fight Club (movie) Brad Pitt's character and Edward Norton's character were the same person but the lead up to that revelation was perfectly executed. Before anyone says anything I am a huge Chuck Palahniuk fan and have read the novels and I still think Fight Club is an amazing movie.

Worst film: Megamind....SURPRISE! I went and saw it yesterday because my wife had a modeling gig and I couldn't attend so I went to the first movie playing. I'm sorry I know many of us are mesmerized by the 3D phenomenon but it didn't take Hollywood much time to continue it's old formula: take an effect that works, copy the story from a billion others and add said effects and you get Megamind. Predictable, lame, and I swear it's EVERY SINGLE OTHER 3D computer generated animation movie combined into one.

I will also agree with bitsandkits Tron Legacy hasn't been released yet, so the "true" best movie of 2010 is still hanging in the balance.

Worst: "Clash of the Titans." Complete and total waste of money. "Legion" is a very close second. Both sucked so bad it is a virtual tie is craptasticness.

Best: I would have put "Kick-Ass" here but the stupid ending ruined what was a great movie. So the best movie released in 2010 that I saw is "The Expendables." Predictable? Hell yes. Bare bones plot? Damn straight. Mega-billion budget? Not really. But, it was fun and had all the famous action stars all in one movie. I was entertained.
