Really?

I think it deserves the most overrated movie of 2010.

There were that many plot holes in the movie it was ridiculous. They got a great idea for a movie and absolutely butchered it with pointless action scenes and zero character knowledge.
There was no explanation why the other characters did what they did. It was like they didn't even have a life. I mean, the girl was a uni student, and she just drops everything to help some random guy in a dream? She has no friends or family? And just drops her whole life? I doubt it.
I wont even get started on all of the errors they had with the dreams inside dreams etc.

Best idea for a movie all year. Worst execution of an idea all year. Most overrated movie all year. Biggest disappointment all year.

I cant think of any movies off the top of my head that stood out for me as being good.
Kick-Ass was ok, but i wouldn't go as far as saying it was "good".

I am keen to see the new Saw movie, and that movie about the people stuck in the elevator. Maybe one of them might get my vote for the best movie of 2010, who knows.

Best: I'm actually rather fond of Inception despite the criticism it seems to be receiving here. Yes there are plot holes but I think that all fits into how you interpret the end of the film. I thought the thin character development of the group besides Leo could be because they were all just projections and thus don't need back story. It's certainly the movie I've talked about the most this year with people and none of that conversation was negative. I'm also rather fond of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I thought Ralph Fiennes was brilliant as Voldemort and if you are a fan of the book series they included tons of little things from the book. I am rather biased however as I'm a huge Harry Potter fan. Scott Pilgrim was also very, very awesome as it appealed to the geek in me and I'm also a fan of the graphic novels.

Worst: I can't really think of a bad movie that I payed to go out and see as I rarely go to the movies. But, based off what some of my friends have said I'll leave this one suggestion. HUMAN CENTIPEDE. I'm not sure if it's a 2010 film but I only started hearing about it this year, and a plot that disgusting may deserve multiple years of worst film.

God, how did I forget the brilliance of Shutter Island? I know quite a few people who were actually shocked by the twist at the end, but they're mainly idiots. Time to change by best film.

@Prof. Pumpkin: haha, the wife and I about ten minutes into the film guessed the "shock" ending and she was dissappointed when it ended that way, but I liked the journey to get to that ending.

I totally forgot about Legion and Clash for worst movies. I didn't even waste my time with either because they both just smelled of pointless CGI and action vomited on top of stiff acting, one dimensional characters, predictable ending and ofcourse the cherry on top of this shit cake: the simpleminded storyline (this ofcourse excludes Clash as we've all seen the original) that even a kinder could write in his sleep.

Just watched Human Centipede.... holy shit!!!

Is it just me, or was that movie a massive turn on?

When they were all naked on the lawn, and the guy was taking a dump in the chicks mouth, i had no choice but to whip it out.

Best... porno... EVER!!!

...Are you secretly Jez by chance?

Mind you I don't think the movie was bad, I actually applaud some of the back work they did in making sure that what happened was physically possible. (That is what makes it a good horror film to me: that it is possible, that is scarier to me than many of the good slasher and horror films of old.)

Will I ever watch it again? Absolutely not, I will never fully forget what I saw and need no refreshing.

Will I see second sequence? Absolutely, I want to see what they do and how possible the things are.

my Best film this year... god.. I guess i'd have to say Avatar (yes i know its 2009), and no not because i'm some hipster obsessed with 3D movies and other gunk, just that the entire movie was visually outstanding, the quality of the characters and their personalities were real and very strong, James Cameron started what i consider the 'Star Wars' of my generation, not to say that it holds as much amazement as star wars, but when I'm 30-40, kids will be talking about it like it was a great Sci Fi movie of all time.

worst movie? The Bounty Hunter.. i get sick of these semi-action chick flicks, It's just as bad as Killers, it wasn't funny, it wasn't profound, it was just cheap and tawdry, I wanted my 8$ back.

Best: Inception, Kick Ass, Killer Inside me, How to Train Your Dragon (just edging out Toy Story 3)

Worst: I think I avoided most of the terrible films this year, though Dinner for schmucks and Other Guys let me down a lot.

Right, so if I sit down and think about it then my choice for best is probably gonna be different but I will go with: Toy Story 3

If you were a kid when the first one came out, then you truly did grow up with this so it means that much more.

Worst movie? I'll say Expendables for this one.
