Default Films With Better Sequels?

Can anyone think of a movie whose sequel was better than the original?

I've heard lots of people talk about Terminator 2 but the pussy John Connor actor ruined it for me.

Aliens was a lot better than Alien.

Spiderman 2 was definitely better than Spiderman, Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi were better than a New Hope.

I tend to feel Alien and Aliens are not really squeals more two different films with the same characters in them. I prefer Alien anyway.

I would say The Dark Knight as a squeal to Batman Begins. Possibly Desperado if you count that one.

Harry Potter.

Hermione has improved, let's say.

Come on, the choice of which of the Harry Potter and the Magical Bullshit films is better if like choosing how hard you want to be punched in the balls.

Ah, yes. The whole "lets bash the popular thing because those popular things are liked by many 12 year olds".

Wondered when that would come up.

There's no point in denying that Part 1 of the Last Book compared to the first book is still crap.

And oh yes. Emma Watson, n...... puhlease...

I have for my sins seen all the Harry Potter films, and I just genuinely don't like them. It's not a dig at them because they're popular. There was one that was quite good but I can't remember which one, then one with the Maze? They all devolve into Find magic item X solve puzzle Y. Good kids films though I guess, can't fault the production qualities at all.

So far I think Deathly Hallows part 1 is the worst I've seen. I presume things are explained slightly better in the book and they just skip some of the explanation in the film and jump straight to 'Oh we found it, yay'

But yes Emma Watson is indeed very nice.
