A great producer, doing the business for some of my favorite movies(amy of darkness,dune and conan) ! died aged 91

Awesome movies. Awesome producer. A big loss indeed. Although his daughter has pretty much been running the show for a while.

I thought he died years ago.

I got to meet him many years ago while visiting the set of "Total Recall" (BEFORE the Arnie version was made). It was being shot in Sydney and mates were working in the FX shop.
One of them managed to salvage one miniature building facade (6' tall model in HO scale).

RIP awesome dude.... My personal favorite was his version of Dune, regardless of the fact that it wasn't as true translation of the book... it still kicked the shit out of the SciFi Channel version.

A Great Loss to film.
