Episode 5 was absolutely terrible.
No action, still no storyline, far too much randomness.
And what was the go with the lab place? It just happened to be there? And they knew where it was? Seems far too convenient.
Almost positive they are just making up the story a week at a time now.

Might have to give the rest of the series a miss i think.
Its like a repeat of Flash Forward all over again, gets you hooked in the first 1 or 2 episodes, and then just fails... hardcore.

I just saw the Episode were the Camp gets attacked at the end
The Series is alright for me but I think the books are still much better, the people however are still making the same stupid mistakes. The camp got attacked and they lost people because they didnt even bother to defend themselfs, where were the sentries that should be standing guard around the camp site? etc

Or just not camp in the woods in the first place. Stupidest place they could possibly be. Far to easy to be attacked from any direction and basically zero warning.

Would be far safer in a concrete building where they can only come from 1 direction and can be seen from a distance.

Considering their extreme stupidity, im surprised they are actually still alive.

Yeah i was always puzzled about the choice of location. Sure its out the way, out of sight and the smell would be masked, but really its still a terrible idea. Though i'm pretty sure merl might have alot to do with it. Lack of sentries is still criminal.

5 was utterly shit, was massively disappointed with it. The broken down camper van was suddenly fixed again with a bit of deus ex machina. The guys bite location was a bit strange aswell i thought.

They set up camp in the same sort of area in the comics, so blame the comic book writers. ;)

I think they set up in the woods because the city was too dangerous and they couldn't hunt or fish from inside a building. From the dialogue, they had set up tin cans as a kind of early warning system. Maybe with so many of them off getting the gun bag back they didn't have enough to post sentries.

Huummm... missing guy with a bad attitude who is missing a hand in who is driving a missing box van and has a serious bone to pick with the rest of the group... I saw that coming the moment the van was missing. Merle is a bastard, he did a bastard thing.

As for camping out at an old rock quarry, where else should they be? The cities and towns are full of the dead, no food or hunting in a city or town and the water is going to be impossible to find or contaminated. So, camping out at a fresh water supply with hunting and foraging along with being away from the dead seems like a logical thing to me. If I am trying to survive I am looking for clean sources of water and food supplies all while being in an inconspicuous place.

If they are going to camp in the woods then they should at least barricade themselves so that they can only get attacked from one direction rather than all directions.
I would be cutting down trees and stacking logs all day every day to make a barricade.
