All adverts piss me off. Especially all that cash for gold shite (amusingly badly done as it was).

Don't give me rep, just poke My Bum ... and then give me rep.

You Buy One, A Said You Get One Free, You Buy One, A Said You Get One Free A Said You Buy One...

They're all a waste of our time, let's go to the advert companies and demand the minutes of our life that they've stolen back!

I despise the ads you see from the bottom feeders, aka lawyers, who tell you how much they care about you and all the various ways you can sue the shit out of someone in order to get money you probably didn't deserve. Admittedly there are times when that is very much the correct response, like when someone hits you on the sidewalk with their car or steals money from you. Slipping on the ice in the middle of winter on the sidewalk in front of some random home does NOT entitle you to 50 billion dollars from the occupants. And unlike the commercial says, the lawyer most certainly does NOT give a fuck about you.

one thing I want is the ability to split my fire everywhere, it makes no sense that a squad of 10 guard or marines or whatever all have to fire at 1 target with everything, is the guy with the lascannon not smart enough to realize maybe he would be better off firing at the massive tank looming overhead instead of the little man no bigger than a squat running at him, or is that far too complex for the 10yr olds?

I don't really watch TV, but when i went to the USA last summer; I was getting so angry at the Lawyer adverts.

I know it's a stereotype that Americans like to take everything to court.

But I did not realise, that it was that true; Every 2 Adverts was a: "Hi, i'm .... I'll help you sue everyone for anything!!!! god bless you!"

I could've seriously.... Turned the TV off. Mad with anger!

And yeah, this is to match Wraithlords post. Hi-freaking-5 for the Anti-Lawyer-Unit.

The guy who wishes he never sold all his warhammer. Haha. Such is life.

I find most adverts tedious, though when I lived in India the tv there was so bad I nearly went insane when I was stuck in for a few days with nothing else to entertain me. They have hundreds of channels but only seem to have 5-10 regular adverts on the main ones (or so it seemed) and a handful of others that turn up sporadically.

That fucking pizza hut guy from one of them still makes me shudder, how the locals watched the tv I have no idea. After the 30th time in one day I was seriously considering throwing the tv out of the window.

Now I don't have a tv and haven't for nearly 12 months; bliss! I was happy to vegetate infront of the idiotbox as much as the next guy when I had one, but now I don't miss it one bit.

I honestly miss those Bally's Fitness commercials with the fit girls in tight work-out clothes. Anyway, those Geiko ads where the announcer guys says "Could 15 minutes with Geiko really says you money? Did the little piggy cry 'wee wee wee' all the way home?" and then it shows a little pig crying 'wee' while being driven home. Those were funny at first, but now they're out of ideas.
Oh, and the git with the opera commercials? J.G. Wentworth. How do I know? Because I've seen those commercials so many times I want push him in front of a bus.

THAT's his name! J.G. Wentworth, a name that will live in infamy. Someone said it's a stereotype that Americans sue too much... no, unfortunately it's a fact. We're a damn whiny bunch.

As for Geico commercials, those seem to be hit-or-miss lately. I liked the first Cavemen ads (not the later ones), and probably my new favorite is the one where the Gecko pulls out a smart phone and a wallet from... where? That's a good "WTF" commercial. I also liked the "Question, counter question" commercial with the country fiddler showing up the snooty restaurant musician.
