Havent been engrossed and n the edge of my seat like this for quite a few years.
The fact that it isn't a sequel or remake is enough for me to go see it.

Indeed, I keep seeing articles with pictures of tumbley-box things and all sort of odd contraptions. May well be the first 'making of' featurette i watch all the way through for quite a while.

Saw it on saturday evening. Had some weird dreams that night .

This is probably one of the most original and well-executed films I've ever seen. There were a few things I thought could have got more time in the plot like the totems, but that would probably have made it too long and the part they played was still significant.

I'm liking DiCaprio's recent films, shutter island was very good too, but nowhere near as deep as Inception.

Was kinda reluctant to go see this because of Di Caprio, as Shutter Island IMO was the biggest bucket of horse shit I've seen in years, but I was happily surprised by this film. Loved the acting, the plot had enough depth to drown a giraffe, and the ending was fitting, if slightly predictable.

Seen it twice now, easily one of the best films thats come out for a while and well up there on my top film list.

I'm also confused by the DiCaprio hate. I originally did see him as the tool from Titanic, but at the end of the day even if you dont like Titanic his acting was great in it. And his other films have been great, he is probably one of the most succesful actors going as far as his reviews and box officer successes go. The Aviator, The Departed, Catch Me If You Can, all got brilliant reviews and he was well acclaimed. And as for Blood Diamond, i think that was one of his best roles to date, excellent film
