Default Scott Pilgrim vs The World

Being the huge nerd that I am, I am DYING to see this movie! I'm a big fan of graphic novels and after seeing the first trailer I went to my local Borders and picked up the first of the series and I've been hooked ever since. Anyway, here is a trailer if you have not yet seen it. Oh, and before it begins... no Michael Cera hating allowed here.

Agreed, it looks wicked....but it's not out for ages

I'd watch anything directed by Edgar Wright, the fact it's scott pilgrim is just icing on the cake as they say.

It will be out August 13th in North America and at the end of August in the UK. Not too far off and I'm dead set on seeing it at midnight no matter what I'm doing the next day.

It's actually set to be day and date with the US release, but in my world of impatience this is forever!

At least predators, inception and toy story can keep me occupied in the mean time.

I'm going to give this a little bump since the final graphic novel in the series came out today. First thing I did when I woke is go to my local Borders and bought it and it is AMAZING

Seriously check this series out before the movie comes out. The dialogue is brilliant and the scenes range from absolutely hilarious to heartfelt and deep. The best thing I've read all summer? I think so.

Can't wait for this, big fan of graphic novel movie adaptations. However, even after your no Michael Cera hating request, I've gotta say.........WHY MICHAEL CERA!? Hopefully I'll be able to get over his awful acting and screen presence and enjoy what has potential to be a great little movie.

Everybody I know is raving about this movie but I dont think I will enjoy it. The trailer I did not enjoy, I just dont like the idea or story. Also I am bored of Michael Cera he just plays the same character in every film, I am just bored of the nerdy awkward teenage finds girl then does some massive action to get her to like her.
But hey you never know this could be good, I feel it has that element about it, either I will go and it will be awesome or it will be so awful I will have torn my eyes out. I dont think it will have a middle ground.

Throughout the movie I was thinking "wtf?" (in a good way) I told my girlfriend about it and she decided she wants to see it now. Being an old school gamer I loved the 8 bit video game effects. Also I completely hate alternative rock but for some reason the soundtrack is fucking addicting to me
