Default James Corden VS Patrick Stewart

So, basically, James Corden spent the evening insinuating that Sir Patrick Stewart is homosexual, and likes young boys, and then Stewart abuses him on stage.

Basically, my opinion of James Corden is so low that there are words I could use to describe him, but shouldn't on a public forum.

Hopefully the seriously unamusing man will die slowly in a fire somewhere.

All of this has happened before.

As much as i love Patrick Stewart, i think they both come off pretty badly in this exchange.

James made some jokes about Patrick, and i'm hoping he was trying to make a Joke about James when he got up on stage. If he really had a problem with Corden i'd hope he'd discuss it with him at a later point than when he's supposed to be giving out an award.

I assume he was trying to make a joke about corden, but his comic timing was fucking way off. I'm not surprised James got the wrong end of the stick, but he didn't handle himself that well either - a host with a quicker wit would have diffused the situation a little less awkwardly.

Corden is a tool, Ok so he's been involved in a strangely successful comedy series which ran for a special and a third series too long, a poor excuse for a b movie and now hosts a shite rip off sports quiz , Hes only famous because of the talented people around him and seems to have the ego that only someone of Sir Patrick's legendary talent should have the right to have, hes should have given his fee to charity just for having the opportunity to share the same room as Stewart.

This, my friends, is a microcosm for the epic, galaxy-spanning battle between Chav and Geek; with an egotistical - albeit rather funny - guy(twat) facing off against John Luc Picard, but also a guy who could flay that nonessential idiot severalfold.

I may seem somewhat hyperbolic, but this is Star Trek versus Gavin and Stacy. I expected Charlie Brooker ambushing Jeremy Kyle in Shinobi-garb as more likely an occurence.
