Default Predators

Just got back in from the cinema, and saw a very interesting trailer:

I'll give any sci-fi movie a chance so long as it isn't absurd from the get-go. I was heavily disappointed by the failure that was the past Alien vs. Predator movies. The first AvP was mediocre, and the second was just some corny teen scare flick with gore with an ounce of intrigue. Not to mention Danny Glover's encounter with the Predator...

The trailer has shown off the neat weapons and such, but I worry that it will be a clone of the first Predator movie...with just more Predators and different Humans.

Perhaps a clone of the original Predator with a slight twist is what they need, after all the other ideas they've explored where nowhere near as successful. I have to be honest and say that a very similar film with different people, different world and more preds will actually interest me and I'm really looking forward to this film.

i have got to say i preferred predator 2 to predator, it was less macho arnold and more ordinary danny taking on an alien, not to mention that danny glover is a much better actor anyway.

Looks poor, sorry. That said, I'll read reviews and if they're positive, I might see it.

90% of people think they are above average.

Statistically Improbable. Psychologically Inevitable.

I think it could end up being pretty good, the writers, producers and directors all seem pretty aware of what a predator movie should be about, and are focused on delivering it.

The cast isn't half bad at all either.

The franchise needs to come out of the shadow of Alien and Terminator.

i think this is gonna be a good film personally rodriguiez is a great director although i think he is producing this one anyhow he does great job on his films i loved dusk til dawn and sin city and casnt wait to see this not to mention finally a new predator movie without aliens. there was much more that could have been done with the avp films. thatand any franchise that alows Paul Anderson to make your movie should be shot.
