A mix between the two IMO.

Clearly not a child's movie, yet my parents insist on letting my toddler siblings watch it almost every night.

Pisses me off that this is going to continue. I remember my stepmom was watching it in the living room while I was reading my "how to paint citadel miniatures" book and she asked me why I wasn't watching. I stated that I wasn't interested in it and she stared at me as if I had told her that I enjoyed torturing small animals.

Quoted for truth. At least dances with wolves had a decent storyline. Kevin Costner isn't my favorite, but they did the natives justice in that movie.

Isn't it amazing that we have 22, 519 members, and yet none of them are "average people"? Take that, probability!

90% of people think they are above average.

Statistically Improbable. Psychologically Inevitable.

However I doubt that a stone tipped arrow could penetrate one of the windshields on a chopper today. Not to mention that Avatar takes place in the future.

for all we know the strength of glass or plastic or whatever makes up the windscreen has decreased due to the future. they lost the ability to make strong glass??

So they can make Mech-suits, massive ships, Cryo Sleep in which you can be revived in minutes, artificial bodies that can be linked with your brain, and massive airships... Yet their glass is apparently the strength of cardboard?

Well if you look at it the physics seem sound. The arrows, while not usualy possessing the V required to punch through, are given extra V by the flying things. That and they are hitting in at an angle that puts the arrow perp to the glass so all the force would allow it to punch through. So really they would have to be damn strong to stop those arrows. Lol
