Default Screenwipe

]This is really only going to be relevant for those who live in the UK. I don't know if many of you watch Screenwipe or follow Charlie Brooker, but you should because he's fucking funny. He's quite astute and often very witty in his critique of the media and news. Here's a little snippet from a few weeks ago which sums up modern news reporting, well certainly in this country and on the BBC.

man, i absolutely love Charlie Brooker. he always has me in stitches with his incredibly cutting and very insightful insults. Screenwipe is an absolute gem of a show, and i'm really enjoying Newswipe. did you see the episode about how he wrote Dead Set and the how it was cocked up by budget cuts?

I didn't see the episode but I read his blog on the Guardian site about it, that was required reading when I was an auditor as it was the only thing that made the time pass quicker. Gameswipe is also really cool, he knows his shit when it comes to video games.

It's a shame how few people know about his shows, though not surprising as they're squirreled away on BBC45 or so.

At least there's always iplayer.

He is rather funny I must admit. Although the last episode of newswipe that was on yesterday was a bit of a cop-out with the compilation stuff.

Don't give me rep, just poke My Bum ... and then give me rep.

found it, and it was hilareous. have to agree with Dara O'brein though, it does piss me off when games deny you content unfairly. i absolutely love the Timesplitters series, but it used to seriously hack me off that i couldn't access the multi-player content without having to jump through hoops.
