Complaining that the story of this film is a cliche is like going to see a football match and complaining all those blokes on the pitch were doing was kicking a ball around. Its JC, a huge budget and a film from Hollywood, would they really risk all that money to try and please the 10% of people who you can never please anyway?!? What is wrong with a bit of "Happily ever after" the world is full of enough dark, depressing things these days that a small ray of sunshine for once is a wonderful thing. I go to the cinema to escape from reality, and in that regard i dont think any other film comes close.

I thought the film was absolutely wonderful. Not perfect, but there is no such thing as a perfect film, but pretty damn close. The visuals were so good im glad i bought a large drink as my mouth was so dry after hanging open for 2.5 hrs. The battle scene at the end was superb and the whole "feel" of the world was utterly intoxicating.

Am seriously thinking about going to see it again this weekend. Its the only film ive ever been to where the audience burst into applause/cheers at the end as everyone had enjoyed it so much!!

PS: Loved the design of those gunships... can i proxy them as a Valkerie please?? Lol

Real Men/Women/Aliens/Heretics/Warp Spawned Filth/Big Scary Space Monsters play Battlefleet Gothic... why dont you???

Well it certaintly wasen't as good as Cameron's other films, Aliens and Terminator but It was something at least. Despite the fact that it was Dancing With Wolves in space with very 2d characters and obvious message I quite enjoyed it. Amazing graphics aside, it was fun to see Capitalism slated and yanks getting impaled on hunting spear sized arrows :D As well, the relationship between Sully and the Dreaenei/Night-Elf girl seemed fairly well written and progressive which is a change in films, Underworld's weak love plot springs to mind.

This is probably be all time favourite film I loved the story line and the graphics, and it was superbly pulled off, the end battle kinda got on my nerves though....With them just riding into the guns and all.

Nyctophobia- Fear of the Dark Angel.

"No one ever spoke about of those two absent brothers. Their separate tragedies had seemed like aberrations. Had they, in fact, been warnings that no one had heeded?"

'Killing a man is like fucking, boy, only instead of giving life you take it. You experience the ecstasy of penetration as your warhead enters the enemy's belly and the shaft follows. You see the whites of his eyes roll inside the sockets of his helmet. You feel his knees give way beneath him and the weight of his faltering flesh draw down the point of your spear. Are you picturing this?'
'Yes, lord.'
'Is your dick hard yet?'
'No, lord.'
''What? You've got your spear in a man's guts and your dog isn't stiff? What are you, a woman?'

Who needs tactics when they have Taruk Makto!

Took my wife to watch this on friday and it was still as enjoyable 2nd time around. I thought 3 hours might be a bit too much in the same month, but Pandora is really bloody pretty.

Seeing as it's just become the biggest grossing film of all time i think it's going to be on for a while yet, i hope everyone gets a chance to see it in 3D.
