the script from abnett should be good and he says the director will stick to it coz wed all notice if their were any mistakes that dont relate to any of the fluff. i do agree with stella though they wiil tone it down alot for the younger viewers as gw are all about the money. still looking forward to it though. any release date for it yet?

To be honest, I don't really care about how good it is. If it is rubbish it can go on my shelf, I'm still getting it. I've always wanted to watch a proper 40k movie.

Nope, straight to DVD as far as I'm aware- doesn't really have a big, reliable, enough fan base to justify putting it on th big screen.

It wont be half as good as Lord of The Rings, it wont even have a tenth of the budget Abnett is a good writer but he's not a miracle worker.

Abnett's a fantastic writer, don't get me wrong, but I'm really shocked Graham McNeill didn't get the job. He did write four ultramarines novels, and damn good ones to boot.

i truly think, done well, this could be awesome enough to go to the big screen.
For example the blair witch project, low budget, but done extremely well.

im hoping for something as awesome if not more then the dawn of war 2 trailer

I liked Blood Angels before they were cool

It doesnt have to be a big budget film in order for it to be successful. Just look at Paranormal Activity.
