Default 2012

Well guys, anyone seen it yet? I managed to get down there last night to see it, and, despite the utter crazyness/daftness/clicheness of it all, i did actually quite enjoy it... somehow. Will be interesting to see if others liked it, i think it might split opinion down the middle!!

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand....... GO!!

Real Men/Women/Aliens/Heretics/Warp Spawned Filth/Big Scary Space Monsters play Battlefleet Gothic... why dont you???

Despite managing a cinema and watching films for free, i'm gonna have to avoid this.

Emmerich's past ventures as writer/producer/director have rarely gone well, and i don't think i can watch monuments blow up for 3 hours straight. Similar to Michael Bay, he should not be let out on his own - he needs people there to restrain him.

I'm guessing character development will be poor at best, and the premise of 'outrunning the apocalype' is just a step too far. He wants to make a 3 hour film about the world blowing up, but unfortunately they wouldn't give him the money unless he jammed a story in there somewhere!

excellent movie, great story, edge of the seat and very griping, went with low expectations and was shocked how good the film was and best of all no fecking day walking emo vampires to be seen.

HUGE BITZ RESTOCK NOW ON

That's probably because the majority of us on here aren't pre-teen/teen females who fall head-over-heels for every good-looking young Metro on the screen. My son took his Daughter to see the movie and the Theatre was full of them, and the movie wasn't that great in his view.

2012 is a great escaptist disaster flick....watch it with that in mind and it's worth the admission price. John Cusack makes it better than it actually is though.

If only these were the only people watching it. I've seen couples over 60, groups of 30 year old women (and men), and people whose film tastes I highly respect excited about watching this pile of cack.

Numbers speak for themselves, New Moon could be the biggest film of 2009.

Gonna go throw up now.

i saw 2012 this evening, i enjoyed it but boy was i pleasantly suprised that the ships were actually water borne ships and not starships as i had a horrible niggling feeling that they would be.

it was a good popcorn flick but also another formulaic emmerich offering
