As for Unforgiven the point is in the begining for the movie he has stopped drinking, for his wife who then died. After they kill his friend he downs a bunch of wiskey and becomes the mean son-of-a-bitch he used to be. Awesome.

I was just telling a friend of mine one or my favorite movie fight scenes in in the Patriot when Mel Gibson and his kids attack the caravan to save his oldest son. His knife and axe work is amazing.

I'm gonna ignore the anti-american part. At least we fought and died for independence.

Apparantly...

90% of people think they are above average.

Statistically Improbable. Psychologically Inevitable.

that part of the post not the movie, of course it's pro-american it an American movie about the American Revoloution.

I have the uttmost respect for England, her people and even her colonies that haven't stood up for themselves.

ROFL! My dad would constantly show me that film + Highlander when I was... *thinks*... ugh... about 6... So yes A dudes heart getting ripped out, and a dude getting his head cut cleanly off in a carpark.... sometimes I wonder dad....

For me, being a fan of Medievel history, then id rate the Siege of Jerusalem in Kingdom of Heaven - the missle exchange fucking rocks.

Braveheart and the Patriot are both unsubtle in their anti-British themes, both grossly twist facts to make the English look 'evil' which is quite laughable, but I suppose traitors have to be proud of their heritage somehow *grin* Besides that, both good movies with some standard fighting scenes.

Anywho surprised noone has mentioned Platoon! The final battle or the part where the LT gets gunned down in slow-mo. Gotta love that scene.

Rawkes Drift - Zulu, can't not love that film, damn powerful stuff when the Zulus are chanting the Red Coats bravery at the end.

Matrix - The scene when Trinity and Neo stroll into the building where Morpheus is holed up, tooled up to hell and shoot up the room.

Aliens, colonial marines are sick straight up.

Suuuupose Avatar's final scenes have to get some mention due to the scale and awesome 3d graphics, musical score let it down though.

I completly forgot about the Patriot, that is one brilliant film. And coming from a Welshman, it potrays the English perfectly Dont worry only joking As for the final scene of Zulu, yep that is brilliant when the Welsh/English are singing Men of Harlech and the Zulu's are chanting back at them

Nyctophobia- Fear of the Dark Angel.

"No one ever spoke about of those two absent brothers. Their separate tragedies had seemed like aberrations. Had they, in fact, been warnings that no one had heeded?"

'Killing a man is like fucking, boy, only instead of giving life you take it. You experience the ecstasy of penetration as your warhead enters the enemy's belly and the shaft follows. You see the whites of his eyes roll inside the sockets of his helmet. You feel his knees give way beneath him and the weight of his faltering flesh draw down the point of your spear. Are you picturing this?'
'Yes, lord.'
'Is your dick hard yet?'
'No, lord.'
''What? You've got your spear in a man's guts and your dog isn't stiff? What are you, a woman?'
