saw this movie via an "alternative source" and have to say........I think its one of the most boring movies ever, I mean transformers was crap, really crap, but even that was better than this pile of garbage, I really don't understand all the hype for this rubbish.

slow movie, boring action, ridiculous dialog, avoid at all costs in my opinion.

I think this went way over some people's heads.

Not all movies have to be about action and explosions. It had a genuine message. I loved it, very thought-provoking.

D-9 is a fantastic film. it draws on a number of social themes and mixes intelligent, thought provoking cinema with quality action sequences. one of the best films of the year IMO.

the latest harry potter on the other hand was utter, utter bollocks and as for inglorious basterds, it was an interesting premise that was a little flat in its execution.

just my 2 cents

Was all prepared to go and see this, and the night before we're set to go... they change their screenings and stick the film 'Up' in it's place... /cry... decided to still go, took our two nephews and was well worth it!

Will grab District 9 on DVD when it's released... c'mon Asda... give us the £7.99 new DVD deal again! /lol
