Firefly/ Serenity...Grade A, total Class, Solid GOLD!
My wife and I still quote the movie/ show and we watch the movie fairly often, at least have it on in the background while doing miniature stuff.

We also like Slither, which has Nathan Fillion and is hilarious.

I liked BSG the new season, esp season 1, and 2. The huge break killed me though.

As far as women go, I kind of won the lottery there: GeekChic, Katie, my wife is on here and a gamer chick (a convert actually. She used to be anti-nerd, actually refused to go out with a guy because she heard he played the Star Wars RPG). She plays RPGs and has her very own, self-chosen, assembled, painted and played Necron Army.

What I've found in my 37 years is that being single and looking is visible a mile away, and somehow it's repellent.

The guy who is happy, satisfied, and indifferent about "scoring" is the one who will attract a woman. Not indifferent about women, but really...just cool.

The guys "on the hunt" seem to repel women from what I've encountered.

The best advice I have in that area is to actually just be yourself, don't worry about women (I had actually simply given up on women entirely when I met Katie) and just have fun. Be yourself. Be honest, even brutally honest if necessary. Cut through the gameplay and BS and say what is on your mind and what you want.

(* I'm not saying be a jerk, just that al the coy gameplay BS and trying to give a good impression really simply hides who you are and when you DO get with someone, and you get comfortable, you will have changed, and often you won't be the person they were interested in anymore.)

This seems to be particularly effective, since this ahem, 'tactic' worked with my gf too.

It was an awesome show for sure but it just didn't get the ratings the studio needed to keep it running unfortunately. Too many people were turned off by the whole western in space feel of it.

one thing I want is the ability to split my fire everywhere, it makes no sense that a squad of 10 guard or marines or whatever all have to fire at 1 target with everything, is the guy with the lascannon not smart enough to realize maybe he would be better off firing at the massive tank looming overhead instead of the little man no bigger than a squat running at him, or is that far too complex for the 10yr olds?

Perhaps this has been Dagmires plan all along. . . . . .

Agreed! A shame they killed off who they killed, though. I hope they do another movie some day.
