Watchmen is sweet, but very gory. Thats the one I'd suggest but you might notlike it

Do not disallusion yourself brothers, today we die, our bodies broken and our souls shattered, we will be remembered as corpses on a battlefield.Raise hell my brothers for one day our great Father will hear of our struggle, and he will be honoured to call us his Sons. In death our Glory shall become eternal.' Karik Farron, 1st Lord of the Dark Scorchers at the Fall of Kempar.

yeah we were actually considering that one as well but then we heard about the gore. Can you compare the gore to another movie or is it at a new height in goriness and is there so much gore that it wouldnt be enjoyable if you were the type of person to close your eyes when you see gore?

Well, it's created by Zach "300" Snyder, so it's best to make your own conclusions from there.

Personally, Gran Torino is fantastic. It's a nice story, and has a right nice feelgood factor. If you want to get the cuddles, I would suggest watching "Hush". It's scary as anything, and one of the best British Horror/Thrillers I've seen for time.

Watchmen Watchmen Watchmen.

(merely directed by Zack '300' Snyder, created by Alan 'V for Vendetta' Moore and Dave Gibbons. Sorry to be pedantic but the former gets nothing from the adaptation of his own graphic novel due to DC's filthy rights tactics, so I feel the urge to credit the great man with it at all times)

In the light of which, I repeat, Watchmen, Watchmen, Watchmen. Get some proper culture into your eyeballs.

lol what do you mean by proper culture So right now its coming down to either Watchman or Grand Torino. When you say its gori is it like realistic sick as ever and constantly through out the movie or more really gori but its a comic book type gore.

I think Gran Torino would be a good movie to watch, Watchmen just doesn't attract me, and unless your wife is into gore and all that violence, then I don't think Watchmen is the way to go. Gran Torino, I believe, would have a great storyline and more comfortable in watching. Just my opinion.

Haven't seen the film yet myself, but the comic isn't really gory. It's just like a superhero movie except more realistic (apart from Dr Manhattan, that guy crazy mad shit).

In the film a dead person is eaten by dogs, so make up your own conclusions to how gory it is

Do not disallusion yourself brothers, today we die, our bodies broken and our souls shattered, we will be remembered as corpses on a battlefield.Raise hell my brothers for one day our great Father will hear of our struggle, and he will be honoured to call us his Sons.
