Hmmm. I was afraid it would be bad...haven't seen the first one, for the same reason...was it better?

better, but not good. not by a long shot.

12 Rounds was surprisingly fun. John Cena isn't terrible.

You serious?

He's the worst actor I've seen in a long time.

You have to take that film for what it is. A shitty action film starring a juiced up twat that pretends to beat people in the ring.

he's fine in the role! you don't need to be ian mckellen to do that shit, and he keeps it going nicely.

To be fair it was mildly entertaining. Which is more can be said for the likes of Watchmen (named after the fact people in the audience keep checking their watches to see when it ends...) and the Spirit....

Last House on the Left tonight.

i don't like horror films. because they scared me. and this scared the shit out of me.

i appreciate it as a very well made film. but still... *shudder*

That looks excellent! I'm happy to go with that recommendation!

I don't get scared per se...I would jump at bits, but that's a reflex. I get more...creeped out, than scared. The Ring and the Grudge both creeped me out a lot...I have a vivid imagination, and have paranoid delusions sometimes. Hey, it happens.

I just saw Terminator Salvation (note lack of :. It's not Terminator: Salvation, but Terminator Salvation. They're apparently trying to save the Terminators...)

I can't bring myself to form an opinion. its a very pretty, fast paced action flick, but it is, ultimately, a rather empty experience. The script veers around from cool to 'what the fuck' as much as all the performances do...

so yeah, i dunno.
