Platoon
Apocalypse Now
The Great Escape
Cross of Iron
Das Boot
Patton
Tora! Tora! Tora!
Black Hawk Down
Full Metal Jacket
The Thin Red Line
Saving Private Ryan

Also although it's not a movie, Band of Brothers was a fantastic mini-series about the 101st Airborne. I recommend it.

I like Mosquito Squadron, the Battle of Britain and Von Ryan's Express. Lead to hours of running around my bedroom with model planes shouting "NEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWCHAKAKAKKAAAAKAKAKAKAK AKA" and sending model trains past airfix german patrols. Ah, fun days.

Its got to be the Aussie classic Odd Angry Shot. Follwoing a patrol of SAS troopers in Vietnam, very moving and poignant but wickedly funny

Hmm, well Saving Private Ryan because its just awsome.
And Black Hawk Down, 300 (although historicaly incorrect), Enemy At The Gates (amazing film!!) and, if i can, Starship Troopers (and possible starship troopers 3, now that its out!)
I hated Apocalypse Now, dont ask me why. it just didnt do it for me. and Straship Troopers 2 was shit!

Gah!

How the HELL did I forget Gallipoli?!

"I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. Johny Got His Gun, Platoon and Full Metal Jacket.

Also the film with the line near the end, 'I'll show you where the Iron Crosses grow'.

OMG I hated Windtalkers! Nick Cage never reloaded once. Too many stupid fireball explosions.

*sigh* I have to point out that despite what you see in games, lasrifles win wars. Just because lasrifles suck at killing superhuman killing machines in power armor does not mean that they are bad weapons. You are shooting them at the wrong targets. The most common enemy the Imperium faces is lightly armored humans armed with lasguns or autoguns, NOT SPACE MARINES.
