As it happens I've been a touch busy this weekend. The Grand Unboxing will have to be tomorrow

Holy shit, S07E10. Motherfucker, that ending. Sad to see

biting it. One of the best written baddies the series has ever had. Better than Pope, and Marks, IMHO.

And Kim Coates. Damn he's a good lucking bastard. But what an actor though.

Episode 12... whoa. Just finished watching and I'm not sure whether I want to burst into tears (no, not because I'm forced to listen to Ed Sheeran) or I dunno. I actually feel close to squeeking out a tear.

Can't believe there's only an hour and a half left of SOA in my life... I'm actually feeling utterly gutted at that, and realising that these extremely well written characters and personas with both it's black humour ("You know why I like teaming up with you Happy? Because when we do I'm the normal one." - Tiggy) and utter seriousness of some of the things that they do, say and that people who honestly I know better than many of my friends after 7 years of seeing them day in and day out.

In Season 7 in particular, its an antihero based program - you can't help but root for them - but there are no happy endings for anyone. The (anti)hero isn't able to just pull it out in the nick of time, save the world, get the girl. This isn't James Bond. This is biker gangs, and drugs pushing, and gun traffickers, and corrupt police, and murderers and rapists, pimps and paedophiles. Even though you end up supporting the Sons and their accumulated "family" (Drea di Matteo and Winter Ave Zoli have some amazing parts, knowing that they're continuing on with being the mother, despite one being the step mother to orphans and the other we presume to be - and despite watching actioners, this is one of the few times that I've actually watched a show where I've not thought "but what about those left behind?" - not even Game of Thrones does that to me), with the actions that are gone on, you can't help feel disgust - if not at them, but at yourself for supporting them - such as the actions towards Juice (but still feeling hatred for his own cowardly, damaging actions which bring so much hurt), or just the general people of Charming or the SoCal sticks...

All that's left is the end, and we all know how that ends...

"Now cracks a noble heart. Good night, sweet prince, and flights of angels sing thee to thy rest!"
