has anyone else watched the first two episodes yet? im totally biased on it as im a huge viking fan and its fitting in alot more historically then one would expect. it shows more into the way of life, how they treated their young, how powerful their females could be (even hosting a shield maiden) and small hints into the greater picture of the "heathen" worldview.
though the pilot does not have as catchy of a beginning as, say, Game of thrones, but this is a history channel show, based in the real world. the Main protagonist was one of the most fearsome vikings to exist.
