Here are some more that I remembered. (I used to rent every horror movie I could find at the local video stores till 90% of em went under).

The decent: Bunch of chicks go spelunking. Deformed troglodytes attack. Fairly gory at times.
Let the right one in: Bullied boy befriend a girl that turns out to be a vampire.
Pulse: Website that kills people more or less.
Devils rejects: Rob zombie makes a movie about killer rednecks...go figure.
Cabin fever: Bunch of idiot kids go on a camping trip. To bad they all get infected by a disease that makes em rot away.

Medusa: "I'm a witch, its my job to blaspheme against Gods."

Two Slaanesh daemons on the first go...hmm I guess the fates have spoken emperors children here I come

If you're gunna put up Devil's Rejects you should put up its predecessor, House of 1000 Corpses. Some scenes may make you physically uncomfortable.

Unfortunately Canada got rid of the penny and now my two cents rounds down to zero, so...take it for what you will.

I really disliked the devil's rejects. I only liked the part where the truck hits the chick.

House of 1000 Dead Corpses had that creepy feel to it. I think the second one tried to make them look to human heading towards the end.

So very creepy. Good point that they made them look a little too sane towards the end. Like they were just misunderstood as opposed to right messed up.

I think someone mentioned it before, but the Descent is pretty good. Bunch of women go spelunking and some scary stuff goes down.

Funnily enough, my auto-correct kept trying to make 'spelunking' in to 'spanking'. Very different movie that would have been....

If you dont mind subtitles I would recommend Guillermo Del Toro's work;
Cronos and Pan's Labyriinth are great.

I am also just a massive fan of An American Werewolf and any film where there is the tragedy of the creature.
Realise out of the timeframe but the original Wolfman and Frankenstein are brilliant

Truth be told, Let the Right One In and its US remake, Let Me In, are really just love stories. One of the hurtles the creator chose to use is a horror element, but ultimately it isn't all that much of a horror film (there is some blood, some killing, and a bit of gore but the focus isn't in that kind of tension of suspense.)

Damnation is paved on good intentions; subtle and sugar coated or blunt and honest
A hero is someone who steps up when everyone else backs down.
Popularity is what people strive for when they lack the strength to be themselves.

Seriously, is it really that hard to write reviews without spoilers?

Just watched Hellraiser with the girlfriend. She did not really understand much of it I only understood it because I had read all about the plot. Over all it was a good movie with some really bad special effects, but it was 1987, so I expected that.

If you liked the film give The Hellbound Heart by Clive Barker a read, its fairly short but a great story and very well written.

Nightbreed is another Barker gem (Book called Cabal), if you like a messed up storyline with monsters and a serial killer,
