Terrifying Movie Adaptations

We have seen Hollywood go all-in on a dark update of Snow White, and two movies about apocalyptic alien attacks based on the children's toys Battleship and Transformers in the past couple of years. We asked you to show us what it will look like when they ineluctably move on to the innocent books we were raised on. The winner is below, but first the runners up.

"Men are moved by only two levers: fear and self interest."

Are you posting the results off a competition, or is this the place where you can put your own adaptation?

My girlfriend said she didn't like Daft Punk. She's single now. Hahahahahaha lol, just kidding. She's dead...

Well "below" for me is an advert with a ginna showing her cleavage, advertising mature dating!

So is she the winner...

Nah, for me, it's a tie between an heroic, noble looking Aragon, and a fat bloke in the middle of a river.

Jar Jar Binks as Forrest Gump springs to mind.

The Black Typhoons | Dark Angels 3rd Company | Tharrus Draw's Warband | Dark Angels' Corner | Codices: Marvel Heroes and Marvel Villains

That's not really an adaptation, unless someone has written some truly horrific fan fiction. (Would not be surprised)

I'm a bit confused as to whether you want us to pick a book and have it turned into a dark horror film?
Well my two books are going to be Alice in Wonderland and Moby Dick. Now that would be something worth watching!
