The first one is a must see, the other ones are a bouched up nightmare that probably should not have happened.

I love Starship Troopers!
And the book is great too!

As for the films, ST2 was utter pish. In my opinion it tried to be a serious horror sci-fi flick in parts which it just isn't.
ST3 on the other hand I enjoyed, because it brought back a little of the over-cooked ham with extra cheese of the first movie
