Popularity isn't important with movies btw... look how many people like Twilight or Potter.

Did anyone see the second post-credit scene?

Finished: Too Much Love Will Kill You (working title), an original fiction novel. Working on: Second draft of Too Much Love, and the first draft of A Winter's Tale (working title).

Very true, although my Grandkids do have some sense and good taste about them 'cause they don't like Twilight at all, but are quite passionate in their interest with Potter....have all the books, DVD's, etc.

Watched it again with my son on Monday, still great the 2nd time around

And if the film wasn't good enough already, Stewart Lee popped in to my cinema to watch it yesterday. Which was pretty cool.

Finally saw it with my friends earlier tonight, er, yesterday.

There are some scenes that just stick with me: Stark walking from the landing pad to his office, the SHIELD heli-carrier powering up, Cap handing Fury a $10, the banter between Stark and Banner in the lab, Black Widow pleading with (re: interrogating) Loki, Thor in the meadow calling down the lightning, Thor and the Hulk on the creature's back, and so many more.

I've been a lifelong comics fan and I love this point and time when comic-book based films are the blockbusters.

[Creaky old man voice:] I remember decades ago when Spidey's web was rope on a wire, when Cap had a transparent shield (and a bike helmet with wings), when Corman's Fantastic Four was such a bad movie that it couldn't be and never was released. Comic book movies were utter crap back then and we liked it!

Really there was no choice. There was no such thing as a "good" (by any measure) comic book movie. All the movies were bad and we went to them just to see our heroes in action.

Okay, end rant.
