It's not a Gangster film, but it's a crime film: The Score with Ed Norton and Robert Deniro. Great performances all around and Mythbusters actually tested some of the things they did to pull off the heist.

The Score is actually a really good film, a can't believe I missed the mythbusters episode about it, what myths did they investigate?

Man, that is one of my all time favourite films. It is criminally underrated. Bruce is on top form, and its a great setting, plus those double Colt 45's are badass.

An underrated gem is True Romance. The 'nigger scene' is iconic, and only pro's like Walken and Hopper could have pulled it off.

Its also got an amazing cast, Oldman, Gandolfini, Walken, Pitt, Hopper, Kilmer etc.

I think they tested the method they used to open the safe. If memory serves, it was an episode dedicated to movie myths.

Goodfellas for me, and in the last year, through a friend I actually got to hang out with the real Henry Hill in Vegas twice.

Not a big fan of gangster movies but Scarface is a classic of film.

Absolutely brilliant scene. And it didn't cop out and have Tony Montana survive the movie somehow, he met the end that most meet in that business.
