No, the aliens featured in Prometheus, if I read correctly, will not be the same as the ones we see in the other alien films and that makes complete sense.

The aliens we are used to are based on human DNA, or in the case of alien 3 a dog, while the aliens in Prometheus are rumoured to be larger. They should be similar, so that people can see that, but not the same aliens as the other movies.

At least, thats what I got in my quick read through of the site.

Damnation is paved on good intentions; subtle and sugar coated or blunt and honest
A hero is someone who steps up when everyone else backs down.
Popularity is what people strive for when they lack the strength to be themselves.

Seriously, is it really that hard to write reviews without spoilers?

Looks superb. Not seen a decent film in years. I hope this changes that, I have high hopes.

Definitely a shot of Mala'kak in the derelict ship found on LV-426 at 0.44

Can't wait. Space Jockey DNA xenomorphs would just be a little terrifying.

Hadn't the trailer already shown that?

Of course...

There probably be no Yautja to save them.... But I'm planning to ask my 40k group if we can have a boy's night out and watch this movie.

Well Ridley Scott had this to say about the space jockey recently
http://screenrant.com/ridley-scott-p...-sandy-144116/
“Yeah, so there you have that. I was always amazed that, I mean, I’ve only done two science-fictions ['Alien' and 'Blade Runner'], but I was always amazed that no one asked who the hell the Space Jockey was. He wasn’t even called the Space Jockey. During the film they started to call it the Space Jockey. I don’t know who started that one off. I always thought it was amazing that no one ever asked who he was, and why was he there? What was all that about? I sat thinking about this for a while and thought, well, there’s a story! And the other four ['Alien' films] missed it! So, here it is.

“… I think one of the reasons why I’ve never gone back to science-fiction, even though I’ve often noodled around, thought about it, looked for story, looked for material, is that there’s a nice purity to the original ‘Alien’. It’s fairly pure. And ['Prometheus'] does actually raise all kinds of other questions, because if someone could, a being, could be as monstrously clever to create something like we experienced in the very first one [ie. the 'Alien' xenomorph] – I always figured it’s a weapon, and I always figured that [the ship in the first 'Alien'] was a carrier of weapons. Therefore, who is that, inside that [Space Jockey] suit? That wasn’t a skeleton, that was a suit. And if you open up the suit, what do you get inside it? And why were they going, where were they going?”

HUGE BITZ RESTOCK NOW ON

Hmm. Not sure if I love Guy Pearce and Ridley Scott enough to outweigh how much I hate that sack of bones and ugly attitude Charlize Theron... Film looks great though!

THIS!

A thousand times this.

Hate Charlize Theron. Have no idea how she gets work. It's like a poor mans' Scarlett Johansson.

All of this has happened before.
