Contagion

I realy enjoyed this film, If you enjoy drama without the all the Hollywood effects and falseness this is the ideal film for you, great cast, great acting and great story, felt very real, more like a documentary of an actual event rather than a silly version of events. People reactions to situations felt genuine, how things were playing out in the media felt realistic.

And if nothing else the film has the Dark Knight Rises trailer running on it in the UK.

Hm, I'm split over whether to see this or Tintin at the moment, because I'll only go and see one. I wasn't sure about this before, but there have been good reviews (including this one )

The Black Typhoons | Dark Angels 3rd Company | Tharrus Draw's Warband | Dark Angels' Corner | Codices: Marvel Heroes and Marvel Villains

I had the same dilemma, but im glad i opted for Contagion and felt genuinely rewarded for my choice, Im a sucker for animated films normally but i dont know there is just something im not keen on about tintin, cant quite put my finger on it, but i dont feel i want to see it.

Looking forward to Immortals next month !

I went and saw Tintin instead. Best animated film. ever. (Mind you I haven't seen a lot of them).

Thank god for that. I was afraid it would be another "lets murder your childhood memories" film, which Hollywood likes to do occasionally. Now I'll have a really tough choice of whether to see Tin Tin or Contagion, which I've had my eye on for a while.... If it wasn't for blasted exams coming up, I'd see both, but I'm not sure if I'll catch them both in time, seeing as I don't see movies that often anyway.

Contagion is running pretty strong at the moment, I expect it's got a few more weeks left at any 8+ multiplex.

I'll second the recommendation for TinTin, it's a proper old school adventure film. The animation is beautiful, and Spielberg really pushes the limits of the medium. Contagion is great as well so i'd watch both

I haven't seen Contagion but I can't be asked to go to the cinema. I'll probably end up getting it cheap on DVD like I did with the Sherlock Holmes movie with Robert Downey Jr.
