Started campaign at 1500 pts

Hi guys with my friends we started a campaign and yesterday night i 've my first match against my DA friend.

My initial thoughts on the match weren't so optimistic but finally i manage to have a great victory (mainly because he made only one great mistake).

The match was annihilation and deployment spearhead.

His list was (from memory):

HQ

Belial

ELITE

2x psyrifle dreads

TROOPS

2x 5x termys w/ 4xPF/SB and TH&SS

1x 5x termys w/ 2x LCs and 3x TH&SS + standard + Belial

FAST

1x landspeeder w/ HB & typhon
1x landspeeder w/ HB & typhon

HEAVY

2x predator w/ TL lascannon

My list was:

HQ
1x Tyranid prime - BS&LW, ST (95)

ELITE
3x HG (150)

3x HG (150)

TROOPS
1x Tervigon - AG, TS, Catlyst (195)

10x Termas (50)

8x Genes - TS (136)

4x Warrs - BS&LW , ST (180)

FAST ATTACK
3x Raveners - RC (105)

HEAVY SUPPORT
Trygon prime - (240)

Trygon - (200)

1500

My deployment was 2 trygons and behind them my raveners, termas and behind them HG and warrs and the tervy; my genes outflank!

So the final score of the match was 10:3 KPs for me; he at 5 turn had 1 full termy squad and 2 of 5 termys of another one.

My losses were raveners, 1 trygon prime, 1 terma brood!

Great match really, but he made a colossal error at turn 3 he can assault my trygon prime with 5 wounds with his CC termy squad with belial, but for some arcane reason he didn't so i multiassaulted them with 2 trygons and 3 raveners and they disintegrated them!

Then it was simple to destroy the rest of his army.

So what do you think about my list?
I like it but i want to hear your thoughts about it!

Thank you guys!

did the Trygon Prime upgrade do anything? You have a ton of Synapse units, so if the Prime upgrade proved useless, the 40 points would be better spent on a fourth Ravener.

what is up with this build? can you not remember which upgrade you took or are you asking me which upgrade is better?

either way, upgrading your Tyranid Prime with the element symbol for "Silver" is not an acceptable upgrade. (I know, I am a geek with Chemistry, LOL. Had to say that, though).

overall, congratulations on the outcome of the game.

I'm pretty sure you've interpreted that right.

Anyway, the list:

-Warriors. What do they have, besides BS/LWs? If devourers, take talons. If talons, you're on the right track.

-10 man Termas. Whatever you do, don't move them up, unless you're fine with suicide units. Sit them on a home objective in an objective game, use them as a gaunt wall for the warriors otherwise.

Other than those points, I can't find much/anything wrong with it. Good, solid basing, loads of HG, a great all-round list, I feel.

Yes on the tyranid prime you are right i've changed the initial list, for the trygon prime upgrade i took it because he must synapse my raveners and the other trygon.

The 4th ravener isn't necessary beacause nobody thake care of 3 rav when they are behind 2 trygons that covered them!

Septok: all my warrs and the prime have BS&LW and ST and those 10 termas grant them and HG cover with the new spawned from mom tervy too.
