Default If GW made a new army...

If GW were to make another race, what would you want it to be?

The next sentence is true. This sentence is a lie.

40K Ogres- would be nice to see S5 T5 W2-3 basic troops. needs some special rules for them to make sure they don't just become ogrins or big orcs. Something like- each unit declares a target and can just ram their way towords it (trying to "tank shock" other units outta their way and gaining bonuses vs the incomming fire of the declared unit but penalties vs all other incomming fire... something like always having a 4+ cover save vs nominated squad at the cost of never getting a cover save vs other units).

Thats a good idea, I would play space ogres if they came out, seeing as I used to play the less technologically advanced ones in fantasy, hehe.

Space ogres are ogryns basically. I would like to see something savage or feral and alien. They need more odd things in 40k.

I think they should make space zombies and vampires! Imagine slow but deadly, WBB, zombies of every army etc. (i know this sounds like necrons but it'll be more like WHFB vampire counts)

Demiurg would be interesting just to see what differences they had from Squats. Also the idea I've seen folks throwing around about them using Ambulls as a marauding unit poked towards the enemy could be fun.

Other than that I'd love to see Exoldite Eldar get a book, just because the idea of Space Elves on giant dino's appeals to me.

Thats why I said there would be something to differentiate them from Ogryns...

As for feral and alien thats pushing it, I'm trying to think of combos and most seem to be covered:

Combat, mob: Orks, Tyranids
Combat, MC: Tyranids
Combat, elite/mec: Eldar/Dark Eldar
Combat, special rules: Demons
Shooty, mob: Imperial Guard
Shooty, elite: Tau, Eldar
Shooty, special rules: Necrons
Combined, Mob: Orks/Space Wolves (the way I play them at least), ?
Combined, general: Marines
Combined, elite: Eldar
Combined, special rules: WH/DH, Chaos

We have mechanise, non-mechanised, deep striking combat, deep striking shooty (pod SM) , special rules for almost everything ranging from undead regeneration of Necrons to Sisters' faith... If there ever was a new 40K army it would either be really boring or have a really cool way to do battle- if there is a way of fighting I haven't thought of and that isn't filled by a set army I would love to know it...

I'd like to see the Skaven in Space. I've forgotten their name, but it's 4 letters =D

But yeah, Rats in Space please.

Space Rats... now that game would take ages; would take you an hour just to set up all your troops
I like it
