Space Marine "Iron Hands" army list

This is a list of all my space marines for 5th edition.

HQ
Epistolary "Marxalvia Penthenias" w/ plasma pistol, force dome, machine curse
Epistolary "Darth Reaper" w/ terminator armor, storm bolter, quickening, might of the ancients

Troops
Squad "Tellion's Assassins" Telion + 9 scouts w/ 8 sniper rifles, missle launcher, camo cloaks
Squad "Marauders" Sergeant + 9 scouts w/ heavy bolter, 2 shotguns, sniper rifle, plasma pistol, power fist
Squad "Watchers" Sergeant + 5 scouts w/ sniper rifle, plasma pistol, power fist, heavy bolter
Squad "Defenders" Sergeant + 9 tactical Marines w/ flamer, lascannon, powerfist, plasma pistol

Elites
Squad "Color Guard" Sergeant + 4 Terminators W/ 2 chain fists, assault cannon
Squad "Storm Troopers" Sergeant + 6 terminators W/ 2 chain fists, assault cannon
Dreadnaught "Ares" w/ Assault cannon, heavy flamer, extra armor
Dreadnaught "Mars" w/ twin-linked lascannon, extra armor
Techmarine "Tin Man" + 4 servitors w/ servo harness, power weapon, 2 heavy bolters

Fast Attack
Assault Squad "Lightning" Sergeant + 9 assault marines w/ 3 plasma pistols, melta bombs, power weapon
Attack Bike "Magma" w/ multi-melta

Heavy Support
Devastator Squad "Demolishers" Sergeant + 9 marines w/ lascannon, 2 plasma cannons, multi-melta, chainsword

Dedicated transports
Land Raider "Juggernaut" + Chronus w/ pintle-mounted storm bolter (Color Guard)

Quick question, what is it you want to be said about your army? A list for play? And if so, what point limit?

Also, if thats the list you're using for standard games, don't think you can take 5 slots for Elites and Heavy Support.

My Army

Just like my Eldar Army list, I was just letting people know what I actually have in my Space Marine army. These are just the squads that I use/will be using in my games. The points that I play are between 1000-3000 points per game.

I really don't like the set up of your scouts and sergeants. Mix'n'matching in squads really lowers their effectiveness so having a tooled up CC sarge in a squad with snipers means that some part of the squad will not be used. Telion would be better in a bolter or shotgun Squad as the snipers range and heavy weapons means he won't be attacking for a while. put him in a shotgun or bolter squad so everything will fire at same range.

Plasma pistols on all your fairly expensive sergeants is a huge risk. If the guy with a powerfist gets wounded from it you've just lost a 40+point model to his own equipment. Keep them on the basic guys yes and on the odd one but not every single sergeant with a special weapon.

same with the devastators. They have a weapon for every possible range in it. You've basically wasted points on a multimelta as that is the shortest hgeavy weapon marines can have and the likelihood of him being able to shoot it is very low...

don't take this as negative though. You posted your list up for comments and help( that's what most people do anyway) and everything above has been said to increase your amy's effectiveness

actually lord tellions bolter is range 36 ans his ability to place wounds means he is perfect for snipeing with snipers take out coms or sargent lose there higher ld for pinning very effective used it in recent apocolyptic game i don't use him in normal games he is ultra marines not raven guard iron hands etc so should stay that way gw really stuffed up there allowing characters to be used but oh well
